PRECISION CRAFTSMEN
DECADES OF EXPERIENCE FOCUSED ON SOLVING YOUR REPAIR PROBLEMS

Chrome Plating and Grinding Services For The Aerospace Industry

Our craftsmen perform component piece part repairs and repair management services using in-house chrome plating, precision grinding, and NDT processes. Managed repair services include cadmium and nickel plating, HVOF, and metal/thermal spray. Our experience includes thousands of parts made from all aerospace metals, but we have unique capabilities to plate chrome on aluminum, Inconel, and titanium. We are FAA/EASA and AS 9100 certified. Our customers include OEMs, Airlines, and FAA Part 145 repair stations. The components we repair are installed on commercial transports, military and government aircraft, business jets, turboprops, and helicopter platforms. Aerospace OEMs also choose us to support their production supply chains with our proprietary chrome on titanium plating and grind capabilities.

YOUR PARTS ARE SAFE WITH US AND THEY WILL BE HOME SOON

Value Proposition

Add value to your repair and overhaul business. We can repair the working surfaces of hydraulic cylinders and pistons that you might otherwise discard as scrap. Hard chrome plating repairs are much less expensive than buying a new replacement part (if available) and frequently, the chrome surface will last longer and wear better than stainless steel.

Aviation parts are difficult and time consuming to manufacture and replacement can be expensive. This is especially true of flight control actuation components and landing gear. However, typical wear and damage on these parts is generally repairable as defined by the Original Equipment Manufacturers in their component maintenance and overhaul manuals. When repair is possible, the repair cost can be a fraction of the cost and the time that would be necessary to create a new part.

Our team deliver results with precision and accuracy.

Repair Development and DER Approval

A transport aircraft may operate for more than 20 years. When it does, key components may experience wear and/or damage beyond the typical case envisioned by the OEM when they wrote the repair manuals. Availability of replacement parts may be limited and the replacement price could be very high. In this, and other similar situations, the FAA has allowed properly qualified and designated individuals to approve repairs on their behalf. We enjoy a unique relationship with an FAA DER who is our former employee and who is qualified to approve repairs in the following:

Systems and Equipment Mechanical, Powerplant

Engine Buildup Unit Mechanical

Wheels and Brakes Mechanical

Engine non-rotating Mechanical

Rotorcraft Gears and Transmissions Mechanical

Propeller Mechanical

We own several high value FAA DER approved repairs and repair specifications and we can work with your unique situation to assist your repair development as well.
